David and Laura Merage Foundation
Promoting Self-Sufficiency Through Education and Community Development
Merage Foundations’ mission is to promote self-sufficiency through education and community development.
Our philanthropic investments are focused on social change and result in children, families and communities improving the quality and circumstances of their lives.
We believe that education is the gateway to optimal life outcomes, and the majority of our initiatives are tied to increasing educational opportunities. In Colorado, we have launched Early Learning Ventures to transform the early childhood education industry. In Israel, we see education as the main vehicle for achieving our goal of improving quality of life, and we are investing in the most advanced educational facilities, technologies and methodologies in Negev communities.
In the Art and Community program area, we continue our commitment to education. With the founding of RedLine, a vibrant community art incubator supporting the creative expression of emerging and mid-career artists, we are providing an innovative approach to art education. Our investments in Community Development are centered on cultural heritage education and promoting acceptance of cultural and religious differences.
