Would you like to be a part of Wonderbound’s growing Marketing team? Working under Communications Manager Amber Blais, the Wonderbound Marketing Assistant would be a valuable asset in the mission to spread the word about Wonderbound events, programs and productions! Details are below.

Pay: $13/hour

Trial Period
Sept 4-Oct 13
6 weeks – 20-30 hours a week

Season Contract
Oct 16, 2017-Dec 22, 2017 10 & Jan 2, 2018-May 4, 2018 (28 weeks total)

  • Demonstrates strong writing capabilities
  • Highly knowledgeable in digital media
  • Possesses strong understanding of branding and corporate messaging
  • Is experienced in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and Premiere
  • Is detail-oriented, highly organized and meets deadlines
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills
  • Communicates in a timely and effective manner within the team members and outside contacts
  • Graphic art/design capabilities are a plus
  • Is able to work on multiple tasks or projects
  • Has a sense of humor and a love of the arts

PR/Media Relations

  • Assist in creating press packets for each production
  • Assist in following up with releases to get press coverage
  • Assist in tracking and recording all press for grants and on website

Social Media/Web presence

  • Assist in Posting consistently on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Assist in maintaining and updating website
  • Assist in posting and managing content for the website


  • Assist in gathering materials/photos
  • Assist in designing print and electronic collateral materials for each production (~25 pieces including a 48 page program layout)
  • Design miscellaneous materials as the need arises, including formatting documents and one-off print requests such as invitations or informational cards

Community Partnerships/Awareness

  • Assist in maintaining relationships with in-kind donors such as restaurants, alcohol distributors, media libraries and printers
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with potential ad purchasers
  • Assist in gathering and tracking in-kind donations for one production a year (8-10 businesses)
  • Grow brand awareness with local businesses and the community through poster posting, relationships with local hotels, apartments and neighborhood associations


  • Assist in photo archiving and organization
  • Maintain an active backup of all photos/videos throughout the season

Tracking Results

  • Tracking stats on social media and website
  • Recording, whenever possible results of campaigns for each production (ads, email, snail mail etc)
  • Tracking articles and press

  • Ability to take classes through our membership at Denver Open Media to learn video and audio editing, as well as using the entire Adobe Suite if needed
