Stephanie has grown up throughout the east coast, but calls Columbus, New Jersey her home; she began dancing at the age of 5, at a small studio outside of Washington D.C. When she was 11 she began the professional training program at Hamilton Ballet Theater under the direction of Julie A. Caprio. Throughout her training she attended summer programs such as Gelsey Kirkland Academy and American Ballet Theater. At the age of 16, Stephanie graduated high school and began her professional career – as a trainee with Redlands Festival Ballet she performed as a soloist in Giselle and Paquita as well as starting to get involved with contemporary work, under the direction of Cecile Herring, Spencer Herring and Andrea Shelly. Following that she performed as a guest soloist with Baltimore Ballet in performances such as Swan Lake and Giselle; under the direction of Cem Catbas. Stephanie has spent the last three years dancing with Mystic Ballet under the direction of Goran Subotic starting with the second company and continuing on to join their main company, performing principal roles in various productions and touring to galas and festivals within the country and internationally. She has had the pleasure of working with many choreographers – among her favorites are Sergei Vanaev, Gabrielle Lamb, Austin McCormick and Lauren Edson.
Stephanie is beyond excited to be joining Wonderbound for her first season, and cannot wait to see what is in store!
