Joined Wonderbound 2015
Morgan, originally from Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, received her training at the Irine Fokine School of Ballet under the direction of Irine Fokine, Eugene Petrov and Jeanette Hoffman. She also enjoyed attending summer and winter programs at Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet, Ellison Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Paul Taylor’s American Modern Dance, and the American Dance Festival. In 2013, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Marketing from Butler University. While at Butler, Morgan had the privilege of dancing Myrtha in Giselle, The Mistress in Paul Taylor’s Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rehearsal), and Nacho Duato’s Por Vos Muero. In August 2013, Morgan became an inaugural member of Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company. Her repertoire with KCB includes works by Michael Pink, Victoria Morgan, Septime Webre, George Balanchine, Todd Bolender, Devon Carney, and Anthony Krutzkamp. She also had the opportunity to set her original piece of choreography, In the Moment of Not Knowing, on the Second Company. In addition to KCB, Morgan has performed with the Kansas City Dance Festival. Morgan is very excited to be joining the Wonderbound family!
