Wonderbound FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I get tickets to your next production?

All of our upcoming productions are listed on our What’s Hopping page, you can purchase tickets through there or give our Patron Services Manager, Elaine Adair a call at 303-292-4700.

Is your studio for rent?

The Wonderbound Studio at Junction Box is the home to our professional Dance Artists and is not for rent, however this does not mean that our space is unavailable! If you have an event that really resonates with our mission, we are always willing to consider jointly hosting it with you – meaning that the Wonderbound dancers will be a part of your event. If this is something that sounds good to you, reach out to us with your most compelling story at info@wonderbound.com

Can I visit the studio?

Why yes, thanks for asking! Our rehearsals are free and open to the public. Grab a seat on one of our comfy couches and watch as our dancers create art. Rough rehearsal times are below, but it is always a good idea to call before you plan on coming to make sure there is something happening.

When are rehearsals?

During our regular season (August-May) Rehearsals take place Tuesday to Friday 11:15-1:45 and 2:30-5:30 and Saturdays 11:45-2:15 and 3:00-6:00. You are welcome to come any time, but if you call or email before you come we can confirm that rehearsal will be taking place at that particular time.

For visitors, we only ask the following:

  • Please keep your voice down while the dancers are working
  • Please do not walk on the dance floor
  • Photos are allowed but please do not use any flash – and photos may not be sold or used publicly without our permission (your personal facebook page is fine)
  • Please no food or drinks in the sofa areas, you are welcome to bring food or drinks which can be eaten at the lunch tables in the rear
  • No dogs please (one of our dancers has a severe allergy)

Do you offer classes at your studio?

No, Wonderbound is a professional company of dancers and during the season, they are in rehearsal 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Every once in a while (especially during the summer) we do offer workshops taught by the dancers. Keep an eye on our facebook page (facebook.com/wonderbound) to catch those rare but awesome opportunities. We also highly recommend the Colorado Conservatory of Dance. They are amazing and offer a full range of classes.

I’m a professional dancer, can I take company class with the dancers?

We’re afraid not, Company class is a perk that we only offer to our company members.

When do you hold auditions?

Auditions are by invitation only, to be considered for an audition, submit your dance reel, headshot and resume to info@wonderbound.com ATTN: Dawn Fay. To see if we have any open company positions, please visit our auditions page.

What happened to Ballet Nouveau Colorado?

In August of 2013, the professional company of Ballet Nouveau Colorado moved to Denver from Broomfield and became Wonderbound. The school of Ballet Nouveau Colorado is now Colorado Conservatory of Dance. They are still located in Broomfield and offer a wide range of amazing classes.
